At last, at last, at last. A new tune on the go - always makes me feel better :)

Brain still recovering after watching 'Moon' last night. Utterly, utterly brilliant. The less you know about it the better, but trust me - you need to see it.

Well Inception was absolutely brilliant, completly ruined by a bunch of inconsiderate kids sat behind us who decided not to watch the film but natter the whole way through. And the one sat next to me answered his phone. Twice. I would have smacked him one if he didn't look 11. Anyways, two of the had a verbal lashing so that'll do. Go and see it - just don't sit near puberty-stricken muppets. :)

If you're in town tonight come along to TOYS FREE PARTY - Friday 9th July @ Day & Night - FREE ALL NIGHT and I'm playing from 12-2 :D
Silly, cheeky, saucy and definitely bouncy, this little number is released through Lift Music, one of the leading media and TV production houses. Check it out!
I had the great honour of playing the last 30 minute set at Bristol's newest club, Crash Mansion.
For those too young to remember, Crash Mansion is the reincarnation of Bar Latino, one of Bristol's most popular clubs. Low ceilings, dark lights and sweaty clubbers make it one of the most intimate venues in Bristol, and where we'll be launching our new night, Code.
So here's a recording of my mix, which went down a treat. First time I'd played Chomp out too, and I'm happy to say it sounded just luvverly.
Today the release date for 'Chomp' has been announced - and it's 17th May!
The press release says:
Slime is a new record label dedicated to exploring the fertile ground opening up between genres, from a new global generation of producers pushing the boundaries of modern music.
Slime is very proud to present it's debut release courtesy of Bristol-based producer [sic]. After a decade working with drum 'n' bass, [sic] took a left turn into techno production recently with explosive results. Releases for labels such as Aux Technology have cemented his reputation as one to watch in the new breed of producers demolishing genre parameters.
For his first release with Slime, [sic] drops 'Chomp', an incredible hybrid of minimal techno, house and garage which will find favour with fans of these sounds and many more besides. A blend of skittering percussion, heavyweight beats and a serpentine bassline, 'Chomp' belies it's dancefloor credentials with a dark underbelly of ethereal FX and sinister chords. 'Chomp' seems precision-tooled to exist outside of genre confines, so will be perfect for dropping in all manner of sets whatever your stylistic persuasion.
On the digital flip, dubstep mastermind Phaeleh takes time out from running the awesome Urban Scrumping label to provide a total remoulding of the original's sound. The insistent bassline of the original has mutated into a hypnotic buzzing groove, wrapped around bone-crushing dubstep beats, shotgun FX and haunting pads for a dystopian ride to the darkside.
